In addition to a date, it may be useful to show on which DAY of the week the event is taking place. This design item is available to 4 calendar views: full (monthly) calendar, events list, cards (list) and cards (grid) views. Does not apply to weekly view calendars.

To find this design item...

Step 1: After you log in, click on Calendars (brown box below).

The Your Calendars page will open.

Step 2: Choose the calendar you wish to modify (brown box below).

Step 3: Click on Design (brown box below).

Step 4: Click on Events (brown box below).

Step 5: Scroll down until you find Show day of the week in event list/grid.

How this item works...

Option #1: Button is toggled off

When the button is greyed out, as shown in the image below, it is toggled off.

As a result no weekday name is shown in the event details.

Option #2: Button is toggled on.

When the button is toggled on (blue color as shown in the image below), another item appears: Day of the week length.

Now, you need to choose how many letters your weekday names will be.

Very short: a two-letter description --- Mo, Tu, We, Th, Fr, Sa, Su

Short: a three-letter description --- Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun

Full: the regular day of the week name

To modify this design item...

To show weekday names, toggle on the button. Then choose your weekday name length from the dropdown menu.

Click Save at the bottom to save your changes.
