To find this design item...

Step 1: After you log in, click on Calendars (brown box below).

The Your Calendars page will open.

Step 2: Choose the calendar you wish to modify (brown box below).

Step 3: Click on Design (brown box below).

Step 4: Scroll down and click on Headers and Links (brown box below).

Step 5: Scroll down until you find Open links in new tab.

To modify this design item...

Someone is looking at your calendar. In one of the events, there is a link. The viewer clicks on the link. What happens?

Option 1: The viewer is taken away from your calendar to the linked page.

To go back to your calendar, the viewer must click the "back one page" arrow. If the viewer closes the linked window or tab by mistake, then they have a long procedure to get back to your calendar.

Option 2:

The link opens up in a new tab (white tab in screenshot above). So, your calendar stays open (purple tab in screenshot above), no matter what the viewer does with the linked page.

We think Option 2 is better. So, we have made it the default (orange box above, button is toggled "on" blue). If you don't agree, just toggle the button off (button will be white).

Click Save at the bottom of the column to save your changes.
